Last night the unthinkable happened. Jason and I were both in the bathroom on our way to bed, and I suddenly felt the strange need to weigh myself. And him. So I stepped on the scale, had him look at the number, then he stepped on the scale. Yep, you guessed it. SAME NUMBER. On my long and upward journey through pregnancy weight and his quick and seemingly easy trek through weightloss, our paths have crossed in what seems to me to be a sick and twisted joke.
I told my father-in-law about our common weight on the phone last night, and he laughed and laughed. Sick sense of humor, that one. He and I are actually a lot alike. I can't count the number of times Jason has said to me over the years, "My gosh, I married my father."
I know I jest, but I am ridiculously proud of my hubby. Twenty-five pounds lighter, he looks really skinny and almost unhealthy, but he's about two weeks away from starting P90X again, then the muscle mass will come back, and he'll be smokin' hot. Just like when I met him in college. Excuse me while I go take a cold shower.
Now on to baby news. We finally decided on a name for this little girl! Hayden Reece. I picked Hayden, and Daddy picked Reece. No family ties or any of that... we just like the name. My one qualification was that I wanted a two-syllable first name, so it works for us. She has become quite the gymnast as of late, especially when I lay down and try to get some sleep. She also thinks it's GREAT fun to perch in such a way as to make Mommy want to rip my sciatic nerve out of my butt and thrash someone with it. Most days I'm limping by mid-afternoon. Glorious!
I hope you all have a great weekend. I'm planning to do a bunch of nothing other than loving on my boy and my babies. Don't tell Emerson she's missing out on trick-or-treating. We're trying to keep that a secret until she's...oh... 13 or so.

Cheap Kraft cheese @ Target
Target is having a sale on their shredded Kraft cheese for $2/each this week. Combine that with a $5 off 5 coupon here and a Target web coupon at their website. I got 5 bags of shredded Kraft today for $.80 each!
FYI, the Kraft coupon rang up as $0 when the cashier swiped it (I double-checked to make sure it hadn't expired), so pay close attention and make sure you get the $5 off. The coupon websites are saying some other people have run into this.

Beauty & the Beast Kind of Morning
Uncle Travis bought Emerson the Beauty & the Beast DVD this month, but we've been saving it for them to watch it together for the first time. Today he took off work, and the three of us drove to his house in midtown for a Beauty & the Beast screening. Emerson was enthralled! Especially since GiGi and SueSue met her at the door with a new set of princess accessories. The earrings, ring, necklace, and crown were perfect for her second Disney movie.
Jax mistakenly thought we were watching Cinderella on the way there. He kept yelling, "Ry-uh!" which is his cute little way of saying Cinderella. It's a wonder we actually made it to Uncle Trav's considering the morning's mishaps. First, I made the mistake of throwing Jax over my shoulder right after breakfast and running through the house chasing Emerson. As soon I filled the tub and put them in, he upchucked some eggs and toast. The fastest solution to the problem was to put them in the shower with me. After I got out and was blow-drying my hair while they continued to play in the shower, Jax thought it would be hilarous to cop a squat and take a little pooper right there. Emerson screamed, and before I could open the shower door, he reached down and put a piece in his mouth. Oh, dear Lord, it was one of the grossest things I've ever seen. I yelled at him to spit it out, which he did, but after getting the kids dressed, I noticed a peculiar aroma coming from his direction. I looked in his mouth & saw poop stuck between his teeth. Nothing like cleaning poop from between your 18-month-old's teeth to get the morning started off right!
"Tale as old as time...True as it can be...." If you haven't watched Beauty & the Beast in a while, get it out and watch it again. So stinkin' good.

My Sis is Preggers!
I am so stinkin' excited that my sister Miley and I get to be pregnant together again! She called earlier this week with the great news that Avery is going to be a big sister. She's exactly 13 weeks behind me, and she'll welcome a little baby Potter sometime in May.
It's times like these that make me overwhelmed with joy and also sad because we live so far from each other. I want nothing more than for my kids to grow up knowing their cousins, so we're gonna keep getting together as much as we possibly can.
Love you, Sis, and I can't wait to see pics of your cute little belly starting to pop out!
