Mascaras #3 & #4

The #3 mascara in my kit was totally a bust. It was a little cakey as I applied it and immediately felt dry. When I looked in the mirror after wearing it for a couple of hours, it was all over my under-eye area. So if you intend to blink at some point during the day, do not buy Tarte's Lights,Camera,Lashes:




Number 4 mascara is one that I've had a love affair with for a while now, so after the disappointment of number 3, I'm in mascara heaven as we speak.




They're Real! mascara by Benefit is the bomb. If you want extreme lengthening, this is for you. And the wand finds all of those teeny tiny lashes, both upper and lower, that you don't even know are there. I seriously love this stuff. And it doesn't wear off on your under-eye area either. I would say the only downside is that the tube seems to dry out a little faster than other brands, but the benefits definitely outweigh that negative.

So you might not see another mascara post for a while because I plan to use every single drop in that tube.
