Sept Picture Post

I just can't keep up. The pace of fall and soccer season and kids' activities at school and homework and WHEW I'M TIRED.

Soccer! We played four soccer games every Saturday last month! Ahhhh!!!

Playing four games makes us a little crazy in the car!

Em and her friend L at the Tulsa State Fair on a fieldtrip.

My newborn baby big girl turned EIGHT. What?!?! So proud of this bright, hilarious, passionate, spicy, independent firstborn.

Grandparents. Best four we could've asked for.

She had a friend party at Andy B's complete with go-karts, laser tag, and arcade games. And on a side note, I will be sad when she grows out of this shirt she is wearing. She wears it to literally EVERY party she goes to, hers included. It says Party Time, so why not wear it to every party, right? She's militant about it. Haha.

My Thursday morning bathroom cleaning helper.

Grammy and Emerson share a sweater in a freezing restaurant.

The Odoms came to town for a quick visit and we got to play at the Tulsa Children's Museum and do dinner!

Primary School Night at the football game.

July picture post

July started off with a trip to see friends and family. Our first leg was a one-way flight to ATL to see our friends, the Odoms. We've known Joey and Cristin for about 11 years and consider them some of our very dearest friends. And they have the most precious kiddos, H & G, who are stair-stepped in between mine. Our kids all get along so well and act like no time has passed every time we get together.

Airport fun! Pardon the blurry phone pics.

This was the only pic from our stay there...I never think to grab my camera when I'm having so much fun!

We rented an SUV from ATL to Union, KY to stay with my brother and his fam. My sister/fam and my parents also joined us there for four days of downtime and play. The cousins are at such fun ages now...it's such precious time that we all get to spend together.

My bro's backyard...SWOON.

Grammy and Grandpa's chirrens.

My favorite siblings. Only...but favorite.

My sister hangin with the boys. Like a boss.

4th of July. Patriotic beauties!

Gettin' loopy in the car on our 3rd leg...driving to Columbia, MO.

Suckers and technology. The key to a nice, quiet drive. Am I right?

Our friends the Linds live in Columbia. Like the Odoms, we have known them for a loooong time. Amazing friends. I love that our girls matched unexpectedly! W & E are such fun kids and ours love playing with them!

Date night out. These boys... And Josh is super tall.

The rest of July was kind of a blur. I had surgery mid-month and spent the rest of the month recovering from that. Thankful for help from family and friends to keep my kiddos busy!

Heard Around Here Lately

Hayden has a beehive craft on the pantry door with four little bees on it. She decided to name them:

1. Fatty
2. Bready
3. Toothy
4. Bee-ee
(The last one just gets me every time)

And big brother Jax:

1. "Mommy, the life of an adult is much harder than the life of a kid."
2. "I have so much energy sometimes I've just gotta toot it out."

June picture post

Well I was obviously a lazy picture-taker last month. We had a fun beginning of summer, plenty of time at the pool, playtime with friends, but I didn't capture much of it. That's the sign of having a good time! Orrrr just being lazy.

Sibs dodging the hot sun during big sis's soccer lessons.

The girls went to a week of Frozen camp at Theatre Arts. It was Sauce's first year to be old enough to go!

The Turnbull cousins were also in town having a Grammy and Grandpa adventure all by themselves! So glad to squeeze a few get-togethers in with them.

Drillers game with good friends! If you follow me on Instagram, you already saw this. Sorry. I'm struggling to eek out four photos from that month, people.

If you're on Instagram, follow me at @beetothevee.

The end of June/early July was our big family trip . . . I'll save those pics for July.
