Miss New Zealand

A week ago Tuesday, a few friends and I celebrated a going-away dinner for our friend Heidi.  On July 1st, she and her little family boarded a plane for Auckland, New Zealand.  Twenty-three hours later, they arrived.  Mind you, she has a 3-yr-old and an infant.  Her husband is doing an internship there for his medical training in orthopedic surgery.  After 6 months in New Zealand and 6 months in Florida, they'll be deciding where to move so he can join a practice.  I'm hoping for somewhere really close.  I miss my friend.  :(
